I am extremely happy to present a bird’s view of a premier institute for women in North Karnataka the SJMVS Arts & Commerce College for women Hubli. Noted as one of the oldest and most vibrant college for women, the institution is managed by Shri Jagadguru Moorusavirmath, Vidhya vardhak Sangha, Hubli and is affiliated to Karnataka State Women’s University, Vijayapur.

Since its inception in 1967, the college has been in the forefront in the field of higher education. The main objective of the college is to provide holistic education to young women hailing from different social spectra and thereby enabling them to carve a niche for themselves in the society. Qualified and experienced faculty, state of art and well equipped infrastructure facilities, optimum use of innovative and ICT based teaching and learning methods, congenial atmosphere and ample scope for learning and all round development have contributed towards making the college a centre for academic excellence and achievement.
