The great visionary late Sri Dr. Gangadhar Rajayogeendra Maha Swamiji of Moorusavirmath , Hubballi, had dreamt to establish a Women’ s University, however, it was  realized partially by starting P G Course (M.Com) in our college on 06-02-2009 to meet the women’s aspirations towards Higher Education. The department is stepping a head under the blessings of Shri Man Maharaja Niranjan Jagadguru Sri Gurusidda Rajayogeendra Mahaswamiji of Moorusavirmath.
Master of Commerce is a Post Graduate course design to give a complete review of commerce and related subject as per the requirement of the industry. The course aims at not only acquisition of theoretical knowledge but also at implementing by inculcating among the students. The research cell of our college is encouraging our students with research papers, paper presentation, industrial visit etc.   M.Com course content is unique in nature,  it enhances not only  market driven knowledge but also humanitarian subjects like Feminist Jurisprudence, Women’s Health, Personality Development, etc. which are very much essential for the overall development for the students. At present the department has 20 students in 1st year, 23 students in 2nd year. There are 05 teaching faculty. The college has been affiliated to the Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapur. 

OBJECTIVE
The Programme aims at training the students to develop conceptual, applied and research skills as well as competencies required for effective problem solving and right decision making in order to meet the challenges of a business at national and global level.

Student’s performance: Academic and co-curricular performance of students is the core aspect of any Educational Institution. It is the 13th batch of this department and our students excelled in banking, education, etc which is highly appreciable.

  • Miss. Aishwarya Hegde has secured highest marks with CGPA 7.42 for the academic year 2020-21 & she got 3rd Rank and Gold Medal to KSAWU Vijayapur.
  • Miss. Ankita Pujar has secured highest marks with CGPA 7.50 for the academic year 2021-22 & she got 2nd Rank to KSAWU Vijayapur.
  • Miss. Vidyashree has secured highest marks with CGPA 7.38 for the academic year 2021-22 & she got 5th Rank to KSAWU Vijayapur.
