Research and Development Cell

 

The research centre was formed in the year ------- in our college.
The college being Arts and Commerce faculty, the college has not made any MOU with the laboratories. However, MOU had been made with industries to undertake field visits and survey in market, rural areas and educational institution to pursue their projects.
There is a research Cell to facilitate and monitor the research activities. The Cell is composed of Principal is a Chairman, Senior Faculty as Secretary, Joint Secretary and Members of the Research Cell.

The Aims and Objectives:

  • To inculcate research culture among faculty members from youngest to most senior.
  • To inculcate research culture among students.
  • To provide necessary training and guidance.
  • To provide a comprehensive structure for research activities in all departments.
  • Support Local, State, National and International Research Priorities;
  • Promote research activities among interdisciplinary faculties, with due regard to their particular needs;
  • Initiate new research activities.
  • Encourage the outside funding for interdisciplinary research.
  • To conduct seminars, workshops and conferences.

Activities of the Cell:

    • Conducted workshop on the research methodology to facilitate the faculty members to take up research.
    • Guides the staff members to prepare the proposal for major and minor research projects.
    • Monitors the research activities of the faculty and students.
    • Motivates the staff members to undertake research work and to obtain the guide-ship.
    • Motivates the staff to present the research paper at National and Inter-national level seminar and conferences.
    • Encourages the students to undertake the project work and field survey.
    • Motivates the staff to publish their research articles in UGC care list journals.
