WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CELL
The vision of our college is to empower the women. The accordance with the vision women empowerment cell is constituted to cater to the needs of the young women and to provide a platform for their holistic development. The cell motivates the students to realize their potential and compete for equal opportunities in building a successful home and career.
Objectives of the Cell
- To uplift the girls socially and intellectually, the cell conducts various awareness programmes.
- To empower them in raising their voices against gender discrimination, injustice, violence.
- To provide a platform for girls and women to share their experience and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves.
- Aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of the female students, the cell stands for facilitating women’s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programs and other welfare activities.
- Conducting various competitions to encourage their artistic talents for creative thinking.
- Celebration of International Women’s day on March 8th , every year. On 8th March 2023 various competitions for mothers were conducted.
- Counseling services for the students.
